Publication and consent
The Foundation publishes tributes, photographs and documents only when their source has been identified and the contributor or rights holder has authorized public use. Complete tributes may be preserved in the Tribute Archive in the contributor’s own words. Editorial presentation must not alter the contributor’s essential meaning.
Photographs and archival material
Contributors should provide digital copies and retain originals. Captions should record names, dates, locations and sources where known. Sensitive, private or uncertain material may be withheld while verification is completed.
Corrections and responsible removal
Requests should identify the page, item and proposed correction, together with supporting information. The Foundation will review credible requests and may correct, annotate, restrict or remove material where accuracy, consent, privacy, safety or rights require it.
Copyright and reuse
Unless stated otherwise, website design and Foundation text may not be reproduced for commercial use without written permission. Rights in contributed photographs, tributes and documents remain with their respective authors, photographers or rights holders. Public display on this website does not transfer ownership.
